A few more from the Stockyards...

I've got more to share from the Stockyards. And, we actually stopped at a cute little location just before going to the Stockyards. It was an art school for kids, so it was really fun & colorful. Here are a few from there (when Maya was being a bit more cooperative.)

And, one from Curt that I love:
Some after thoughts from the Stockyards:

I'm reposting this picture of the girls because it occurred to me that I could swap Maya's head & love it even more. Ha! :) So, that's what I did.
A couple from Curt... because I don't know that he'll ever update his blog.

Blog lurker here too. *blush* I had to pop in and say how gorgeous the photos are too. And that it makes me SO nervous how dad's holding that camera in the photo of them walking away. :)

Very nice, Curt did a great job too, he needs to update his blog. If you swap heads just don't tell, it makes it weird.

Beautiful! And great job Curt, too. I kept checking your blog thinking I'd see some on there :-(
I always love the photos of Curt walking away with one of the girls - love the contrast in sizes and all it implies.

The eyes in all your pictures are awesome. Do you use an action in photoshop to make them so beautiful?

Hey Amy, not sure how I came across your site but I love your photo's. I am DEFINITELY an amateur photographer and just learning. I was just curious if I could get some tips from you. For instance what kind of camera you use and what editing program you use. I am currently using a canon XTI with a new image stabilizer lens on it 26-135. I just started editing some photo's in Lightroom 2 and am considering buying the program (I have the trial version). OBVIOUSLY photoshop is my dream but can't afford it at the moment. Anyways, any tips you have to give are great.. and if not, no big deal either! Thanks!! Feel free to e-mail me at Shan_cunningham@hotmail.com

We loved going to the stockyards when we lived in Dallas. But how in the world did you get the whole place to yourselves? Ha! Beautiful pictures, as always!!!
