ay yi yi

Sitting in the LA airport feeling a lot like herded cattle. This place is insane in the middle of the night. Who knew?

I'm feeling tired and kinda sad. And, I've got a 13 hour flight coming up. Prayers would be appreciated. Seriously.

Have a wonderful trip, Amy! I think the LA airport is a zoo 24/7, so at least they didn't make it crazy just for you.. Praying that your flight will be smooth and that you'll have a happy and safe trip.

Hi Amy,
Don't know if you remember me or not? I check your blog all the time...you have amazing talent! I just got back from the first leg of my two trips away from my two little boys (3 yrs and almost 1 yr) this summer....once I let go of the fact that I am not the ONLY person on this earth that loves my children and can give them great care...I had a great time. (I thought about them constantly and even dreamt all night about them one night!! ) This seems like a funny statement but I honestly believed that no one could care for them like me...I know no one can replace me...but there are others who love my kids as much as I do (their daddy for 1!!) I came home refreshed as a wife, mommy,... and human being. Seeing my boys after not seeing them for 7 days really gave me a fresh perspective on being their mom...how precious they are etc...not that I didn't "know" this before...it's just different when being away and coming back to them again. (Couldn't get ENOUGH kisses and hugs and suddenly even changing a diaper wasn't mundane...but a blessing!!) I see getting away like this as a way of getting to put your beliefs into practice..for real! You know, that we trust our hubbies and others who care for our kids...now we really have to put that into practice!! The boys are great, had a great time with their Daddy...and were safe! PRaise the Lord! I would say my decision to go was a good one. Have fun!! Your little ones are in great care! I will be praying for you to have a great time, for the kids, your hubby, and you to be safe, have fun, and for everyone to be refreshed! I leave in a week for my 11 day stint. Hopefully that will go as well. :) Sorry this is so long!
Rosie.........:)

Count me in, too.

And since I'm writing this from YOUR computer, that counts extra, right?!

Looking forward to seeing pictures from China!

Amy-
I have been thinking about you and praying for you. Your girls were over at my house tonight for the party. I thought I would give you something to laugh about:
We were playing musical chairs, where the kids all have to walk in a circle around the chairs. Each time we would start, Maya would walk in the opposite direction as the rest of the kids. Everytime Jack or I would say, "Go the other way Maya" and she would turn around. I thought if you were to see it, you would say, "that is so Maya"...so I wanted to share. Well, I miss talking to you about everything. I hope the rest of your flights are going okay. It think you still have one more to go. Love and Blessings-

Jenny
