Finally!
So, how long have I been doing this? All this time, my blog has been absent of one of the cutest, sassiest little key players in my daughters' lives. If you ask either of my girls who their best friends are, Josie is on the super duper short list! Not only is Josie one of their best buddies, she also happens to be a cousin. :-)
Don't ask me why she hasn't been on my blog until today. I really have no idea. Okay, okay...maybe I have a small idea. She is just like my Maya. She's busy. Just busy. If I can catch her in front of the camera, convince her to stop just for a moment...well...then she's keeping her eyes on the action. Constantly tracking what's going on elsewhere, so then I get her looking like she's sitting for me, but there's NO eye contact! Haha! Maya SO used to do the same thing. But, poor Maya lives with me. She cannot escape the camera. Ever. No breaks for her. So, I've trained her. That's the difference between Josie & Maya in front of the camera these days.
Well, this weekend, we celebrated my nephews' birthdays. (Side note: for, like, three days, if someone were to ask Heather or Jimmy how old their boys are, they'd be able to say, "umm...their one." Hahahaha!!! I just think that's too stinkin' funny!) Anyway...back to Josie. When I got to Heathers, Josie was already there. And, dang was she cute! She's ALWAYS rockin' the latest trends. She's bound to be the most fashionable little three year old that I know. On top of all that, she's just stunning naturally. Seriously.
She was in an excellent mood & agreed to let me take some pictures of her. So we did. :-) Now, turns out I only got eye contact in one of these, but she was just much more cooperative overall. (Translation: For the most part, she wasn't sprinting at full speed away from me. Ha!) I LOVE the contrast in these. I'm loving the bright fuchsia against her dark hair, eyes & boots. And those beads...LOVE 'em!
Also, you can probably expect another post from me pretty quickly...hopefully tomorrow. I've got OODLES of pictures from the birthday party. Although, mom, let me warn you now...I don't have ANY of Kyden. He was snoozin' pretty much the whole time. :-(

These are some of the best I've seen of Josie, really cute! You know Rob's going to want copies to do a scrapbook page :-)
Yeah, Heather already told me he slept through his whole first birthday party. Oh well...
Mom

These are so adorable! You never disappoint! And that dress is SO cute! In fact, I bought the EXACT same one for my niece's 2nd b-day last month!
Oh Amy! I agree with you, love the colors, great coversion! I actually like the one without eye contact the best....I think it's the 3rd one. They are all beautiful!
So adorable (even though she doesn't look too happy in the first pictures). I absolutely love the ones of her smiling and laughing. Priceless.
