Just one today...

Well, I only took a few shots today. Nothing fancy. I certainly didn't pick out a cute coordinating outfit & set up the shoot, let alone brush her hair. And, yet, this is one of my new favorite pictures of my Maya. Maybe it's not obvious to everyone else, but if she were your daughter, I feel certain you'd love it, too.

This IS Maya. She's just a funny little thing with dirty feet & crazy hair. This tattered Cinderella dress is her most favorite dress up dress of all time. I love how it falls right off her shoulders. I love how it's snug around her belly. I love how the torn fabric just hangs from the dress proving just how well loved it is. She looks so beautiful when she wears it.

Anyway, she had it on, as usual. I passed her from this angle and saw it. I love the way she's holding her little foot. I love that her dimpled little elbow is bandaged, and I LOVE that she's wearing her dress. This is Maya's carefree childhood right here, and I captured it. I adore this photograph.
