Backlighting...
Well, it was SUCH a nice day today. I think the high was around 75*. So, when we got home from the "Y," I decided to take the girls out front for some photos. The sun was setting, and I'm getting bored with the same ol' thing, so I decided to try for some SERIOUSLY backlit shots. Here's what I got: (of course Maya is being a MANIAC!!!)

I am no backlighting expert...but to me, I really like this lighting for these shots. It may not work with everything, but...these have that summer sun look to them.
Gorgeous lighting here! I think that they look wonderful. Doesn't hurt that you have two beauties to photograph either. LOL!
